Job Description :
The program manager is also expected to write very detailed functional specifications, capturing technical details, user experience, solution architecture/design and solution deployment of product or cloud based service.
Also, expected to evangelize the product / cloud based service to customers, with several product marketing initiatives, blogs, documentation, videos, running customer testimonials, representing in public facing events and equipping the customer support and product support teams with the product or cloud based service details.
The program manager is also responsible to have the solution validated by the customers, channelize and prioritize the customer feedback to product team and hand hold the customers with solution deployment.
The program manager must also track closely the changes in the market dynamics, technology trends and competition landscapes.
So that accordingly the product direction can be altered and tuned to increase the relevance of the product or cloud based service.
