The The Finance team in FLO-CERT is looking for candidates to fill the new role as a Head of Accounting.Monthly, quarterly, annual closing according to HGBManage the financial group accounting in BonnManage the accounting team in BonnDeputise and assist the Director of Finances in the development of the Finance department and services
Responsibilities
Manage the Accounting TeamManage the financial accounts of the FLO-CERT GmbH according to HGBManage the monthly, quarterly and annual closing of the General ledger accounts – ensure timely and accurate reportingCo-ordinate the external annual financial auditEnsure correct payroll accounting in co-ordination with the Human Resources DepartmentPresent and advice financial information and results internallyManage work flows efficiently to provide financial services internallyCo-ordinate the financial results with controlling / Analyze variances to previous year, budget etc.Special project work as assigned
Tasks:
Manage yearly, quarterly and monthly accounts and financial reportsOversee the code and book transactions of mother companyOversee and manage the booking of incoming invoices (coding, booking, reconciliation)Oversee and book payroll according to information provided by external consultantCoordinate with Finance Controller on forecastingMonitor and maintain the chart of accountsProvide support to the Finance Director as requiredProject work
Qualifications
“Must haves”University degree in financial/management or any professional education (e.g. certified management accountant) or equivalent.6+ years of experience of accountingStrong accounting skills (HGB) and good knowledge in payroll accountingPeople management experienceVery good organizational and planning skillsFluent in German and EnglishGood quantitative aptitude and proven analytical skillsAbility to drive process and change managementHigh service and business goal orientation paired with a strong solution focusPractical hands on experience in SAP Business One and/or other finance softwareGood knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office, in particular ExcelA hands-on, assertive and entrepreneurial working styleExcellent communication skills and the ability to interface with all hierarchical levels including strong facility in cross-cultural communicationStrong cross-cultural communication skillsExperience of coordinating accounts of international business company with different entitiesProven skills in customer orientation and service delivery
